关于南京医科大学留学生实习与延长学制的规定（试行）
为规范我校留学生教育教学管理工作，培养高水平的医学留学生，参照我校教务处学籍管理相关要求，并结合我校留学生教学管理实际情况，经国际教育学院研究，特制定本规定。
一、对已完成所有理论课程、实验课程与见习课程并通过以上所有课程考试的学生，可向学校申请回生源国（或第三国，以下简称“回国”）进行实习，经学校批准后可回国参加实习。
二、回国实习的学生，在完成实习后，可于每年4月30日前或10月31日前向学校申请参加毕业考核，考核合格并符合学校相关规定者，可颁发毕业证书和授予学士学位。
三、如学生在实习前仍有课程考试不及格（或其他原因）不能参加实习，但又未符合留级条件者，学生可留在原年级继续学习，待所有课程及格并符合实习条件后方可申请参加实习。在此期间学生须按每年正常学费的50％向学校缴纳留读费用。
四、对留华实习或回国实习的学生，在完成实习后可参加学校组织的毕业考试，在毕业考试（含补考）后有课程不及格者，可申请延期毕业。学生在办理延期毕业之前须按每年正常学费的50％向学校缴纳延期毕业费用。
五、申请延期毕业并经批准的学生，可在申请延期毕业期限内每年4月30日前或10月31日前向学校申请参加毕业考核，考核合格并符合学校相关规定者，可颁发毕业证书和授予学士学位。
六、我校临床医学专业本科留学生学制为5.5年或6年，在校年限最长为9年，任何学生因任何原因需要延期毕业者，均不得超过9年，否则不予颁发毕业证书和授予学位证书。
七、本规定适用于2007年及以前入学的留学生，不包含留级至2008级及以后各年级的学生。本规定中“留学生”指南京医科大学全英文授课临床医学专业（MBBS）留学生。
八、本规定由国际教育学院负责实施。
九、本规定自发布之日起执行，如之前有相关规定与本规定不相符的，以本规定为准。

Regarding the Internship and delayed graduation for international students of Nanjing Medical University
In order to standardize the teaching management for international students, School of International Education (SIE), based on the relevant regulations of the Department of Teaching Affairs, has formulated the following:
I. After completing all theory and laboratory courses, and passing the examinations of preclinical and clinical sciences, students can do their internship back to their home country or a 3rd country with their application approved by SIE.
II. Students who do internship out of China have to register for the graduation exam before April 30th or October 31st every year if their internship is completed. Not until passing the graduation exam will they are conferred with diploma and MBBS degree according to the relevant provisions of SIE.
III. Students who still fail in the opportunity exam of any subject, including the Chinese course and HSK, are not allowed to enter the internship program. If they are not eligible for degrading, they can repeat their studies in the original grade until they pass all the exams, a prerequisite for entry into the internship program. During the extended period students will have to pay 50% of the tuition fee for every repeated year.
IV. All students, wherever they do their internship, will have to take the graduation exam after completion of internship and if they fail in the graduation exam (after make-up exam) they can apply for extension for the next year but have to pay the 50% of tuition fee annually until they pass the graduation exam.
V. Students who fail in the graduation exam can apply for the extension and take the next graduation exam each year within the extended time. After passing the graduation exam and conforming to other relevant requirements such students can be conferred with MBBS degree and diploma according to the rules and regulations of the SIE. Students who need to take the graduation exam in the next academic year have to fill the “Application Form for Delayed Graduation” before April 30th or October 31st within the extended time. Emails and phone calls for extension will not be entertained.
VI. The longest duration of undergraduate studies for International students in SIE is 9 years. All students, whatever the reason, shall not exceed the number of years or else the University will not issue diploma and degree certificate.
VII. This provision is for the English-medium MBBS students who were enrolled in year 2007 or before the year 2007 (excluding those students who were degraded to batch 2008 or after batch 2008).
VIII. Implementation of the above-mentioned regulation remains with the School of International Education, NMU.
IX. This regulation will come to effect from the issue date, and if there is any controversy between the earlier regulation and this regulation, this regulation will be valid.
