On the 10th of December, 2008 oversea students class from India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, and US in Jiangning Campus started an every semester Chinese Language Competition. The competition activities include writing/guessing Chinese characters, listening/speaking show and some other interesting items. The multicultural students actually performed brilliantly as a result of their three months’ Chinese study experience.
Many of the students while expressing their opinions said studying Chinese offers them a good opportunity to understand China and its culture therefore making their studying and living in china more easier and exciting. They express hope for more of this activity happening in future.
