V. CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicants should not exceed the age of 25 by the time of enrollment
2. A minimum of HSK Level 5 is required
3. High school transcript: GPA≥3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) or its equivalent

VII. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Applicants submit all application documents through online application system:http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/
2. NMU will issue PRE-ADMISSION LETTER to those qualified applicants.
3. Applicants complete a non-refundable deposit payment of CNY4,500(amount received by NMU) within the period specified in the PRE-ADMISSION LETTER. Failure to pay the deposit within designated period may result in a cancellation of admission.
4. NMU will send OFFICIAL ADMISSION LETTER and the Visa Application for Study in China (JW201/202 form) after receiving the deposit.
5. Incoming students apply for an X Visa at an embassy or consulate of P.R. China, along with the OFFICIAL ADMISSION LETTER and the JW201/202 form.
Notes:
1. Please be sure to indicate the application number and name when remitting your payment.
2. The university reserves the admission qualification for one year for students who have paid the deposit in advance. If the student gives up the admission to our university due to personal reasons, the deposit will not be refunded.
3. For students who have been admitted, if they fail to meet the university’s registration requirements at the time of registration and are disqualified from admission, the deposit will not be refunded.
七、申请步骤
1. 申请人通过网上申请系统提交所有材料：http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/
2. 招生办公室将根据申请人的高中阶段成绩、语言水平等因素综合考虑择优录取。材料审核合格者将收到《预录取通知书》。
3. 申请人在《预录取通知书》中规定的期限内缴纳不可退还押金4,500元人民币（实际到账金额），未能在指定期限内支付押金可能会导致取消录取。
4. 招生办公室确认收到押金后，发出《录取通知书》和来华留学签证申请表（JW202表/JW201表）。
特别提醒：
1. 请务必在汇款时准确地注明申请编号和姓名。
2. 学校只为已经预交押金的学生保留一年入学资格，如学生在之后因个人原因放弃来我校入学报到或者报到后申请退学，预交的押金均不予退还。
3. 已经被录取的学生，由于在入学报到时未能满足学校关于报到注册的条件而被取消入学资格的，其所预交的押金亦不予退还。

4. Certificate of non-criminal record
5. Certificate of HSK Level 5 or above; HSKK certificate

1. Registration Fee: CNY500
2. Tuition: CNY30,000/Year
3. Accommodation Fee: double room, CNY6,000/(Person*Year)
The total of the above three items is CNY36, 500.
