An Interesting Extracurricular Activity – Competition of Locating Places in A Chinese Map
On Noverber 25, 2008, the international students of Batch 2008 carried out an interesting extracurricular acticity – the competition of lacating places on a Chinese map. The students, with the help of their teaching of chinese and a Chinese dictionary, practiced the chinese they had already learned, trying to find places on the Chinese map. The result revealed that their 2 months’ Chinese studies are successful; They could quickly find the positions of the designated places, choose the latest way, and use Chinese to explain the whole tour plan to their fellow students.
This activity facilitetes the teaching of Chinese, arouses students’ interest in Chinese, and helps them develop a good habit of self study.
