Organized by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, a Work Conference on Universities Receiving Foreign Students & Annual Seminar on Education Management of Foreign Students was held on January 11, 2017. Nanjing Medical University is one of the universities that are engaged in foreign education. Professor Wang Lin, Vice President of NMU, attended the conference.
The conference conveyed the spirits of the National Conference for the Management of Foreign Students, summarized the work of foreign student education during the period of the 12th Five-Year Plan, put forward the future main tasks, and commended outstanding universities and teachers who made great contribution to international education. NMU was awarded the honorable title of Jiangsu Provincial Advanced Education Unit for Foreign Students and one teacher was awarded outstanding representative in this field.
Having 588 foreign students at present, Nanjing Medical University pays great attention to the management of foreign students towards the direction of normalization, informatization and refined management and emphasizes on style of study and culture.
