From Dec.9th-10th, 2017, the 4th stop of NMU 2017 Perceiving Jiangsu - Students' Culture Exchange and Practice has been successfully completed in Taizhou. The student participants for this time include 30 foreign students who won Nanjing Medical University Outstanding Scholarship and 10 volunteers from Kangda School.
On Dec.10th, the opening ceremony for the 4th stop was held in Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group in Taizhou. By the introduction video of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, the teachers and students had a preliminary understanding of the development and future plan of the company. After the opening, the NMU teachers and students visited the Drug Research Institute and Yong'an Dragon and Phoenix Hall, the manufacturing factory of traditional Chinese medicines, having a further understanding on the core value of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group.
In addition, the students visited the Memorial Museum of Mei Lanfang and the Taizhou Ancient Street, experiencing the charm of the traditional Chinese opera and constructions and witnessing the wisdom of Chinese handicraft art.
The tour in Taizhou is the 4th stop in NMU 2017 Perceiving Jiangsu serial activity, which aims to provide the opportunity for foreign students to know China and Jiangsu and to enhance their cognition on Chinese culture.
