VII. EVALUATION

Application materials review and online interview 

Note:

1. Online interviews will be held regularly before the end of admission.

2. In addition to submitted application documents, acceptance is also based on interview results and an applicant’s comprehensive quality.

3. NMU will notify applicants of the interview time by email. If an applicant cannot participate in a scheduled interview, he/she must email the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (admission@njmu.edu.cn) to explain the situation and NMU will designate an alternative date. Applicants who decline both interview dates will not be eligible for admission.

VIII. CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY

1) Applicants should not exceed the age of 25 by the time of enrollment

2)Transcript requirements (meet one of following requirements)

   i. High school transcript: GPA≥3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) or its equivalent

 ii. GCE A-level: all subjects should be C or above

iii. GED total score: ≥580, all subjects: ≥145

iv. Indian State Board Examination: the mark secured of all the subjects/the maximum mark of all the subjects≥85%, CBSE≥70%, NEET score≥300 (from NEET taken in 2022 to 2024)

3)English level

i          Applicants should provide IELTS result (the total score should be no less than 6 points, no less than 5 of each item); TOEFL result (the total score should no less than 85 points, no less than 15 points per individual), Duolingo result (the total score should no less than 115 points).

ii        Applicants who have earned a high-school diploma, or a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree, from a program for which English is the primary language of instruction.

Note: NO predicted score is accepted.

IX. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Applicants submit all materials through online application system: http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/

2. Office of Admissions and Recruitment reviews submitted documents.

3. Office of Admissions and Recruitment notifies applicants who pass the preliminary review of the interview time by email.

4. Applicants take an online interview, those who pass the assessment will receive a PRE-ADMISSION LETTER from Nanjing Medical University.

5. Applicants complete a non-refundable deposit payment of CNY13,000 (amount received by NMU) within the period specified in the PRE-ADMISSION LETTER. Failure to pay the deposit within designated period may result in a cancellation of admission.

6. Office of Admissions and Recruitment sends OFFICIAL ADMISSION LETTER and the Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 form) after receiving the deposit.

7. Incoming students apply for an X Visa at an embassy or consulate of P.R. China, along with the ADMISSION LETTER and the JW202 form.

Notes:

1. Please be sure to indicate the application number and name when remitting your payment.

2. If the student gives up the admission to our university due to personal reasons, the deposit will not be refunded.

3. For students who have been admitted, if they fail to meet the university’s registration requirements at the time of registration and are disqualified from admission, the deposit will not be refunded.

4. Applicants in their final year of study will also be considered for admission. It is the applicant’s responsibility to present all required original documents (graduation diploma, degree certificate, transcript, language proficiency certificate and other attachment materials, etc.) at registration. Failure to obtain and present all required original documents will result in cancellation of admission.

XI. FEE STRUCTURE (CNY)

3)Accommodation Fee:

   i. Jiangning campus: Double room, CNY6,000/, (Person*Year).

 ii. Wutai campus: Double room, CNY 8,000/(Person*Year); Three-bedroom, CNY6,800/(Person*Year); Four-bedroom on Wutai campus, CNY6,000/(Person*Year).

Utilities will be charged according to actual usage on a monthly basis.
