V. EVALUATION
Application materials review and online interview
Note:
1. Online interviews will be held regularly before the end of admission.
2. In addition to submitted application documents, acceptance is also based on interview results and an applicant’s comprehensive quality.
3. NMU will notify applicants of the interview time by email. If an applicant cannot participate in a scheduled interview, he/she must email the Office of Admissions and Recruitment (admission@njmu.edu.cn) to explain the situation and NMU will designate an alternative date. Applicants who decline both interview dates will not be eligible for admission.
五、评估方式
申请材料审核及线上面试
注：
1. 招生结束前，学校将定期举行网络面试。
2. 除提交申请材料外，学校还将根据面试成绩和申请人的综合素质进行录取。
3. 学校将通过电子邮件通知申请人面试时间。如申请人不能参加原定的面试，须向招生办公室（admission@njmu.edu.cn）发送电子邮件说明情况，学校将另行安排面试时间。拒绝参加两次面试的申请人将失去入学资格。
VI. CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicants should not exceed the age of 25 by the time of enrollment.
2. A minimum of HSK Level 4 is required.
3. High school transcript: GPA ≥ 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) or its equivalent (the subjects studied in high school must include physics/ mathematics, biology, and chemistry)
4. China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA)
All applicants to undergraduate programs must take the “China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA)” administered by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) under the Ministry of Education of China, with Professional Chinese (STEM)、Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Please visit the official CSCA websites (www.csca.cn) for detailed information on test arrangements and registration.
六、申请标准
1. 申请人年龄不超过25周岁。
2. HSK（汉语水平考试）达到4级或以上。
3. 高中阶段全部课程的成绩单：GPA ≥ 3.0（4.0分）或同等学历（高中学习的科目必须包括物理或数学、生物和化学。）
4． 入学学业水平测试（CSCA）
所有申请本科项目的学生须参加由教育部留学服务中心主办的“中国入学学业水平测试（CSCA）”，理科中文、数学和化学为必考科目。具体考试方式、时间和报名安排请以官方网站（www.csca.cn）公布的信息为准。

VIII. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Applicants submit all application documents through online application system: http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/
2. Office of Admissions and Recruitment reviews submitted documents.
3. Office of Admissions and Recruitment notifies applicants who pass the preliminary review of the interview time by email.
4. Applicants take an online interview, those who pass the assessment will receive a PRE-ADMISSION LETTER from Nanjing Medical University.
5. Applicants must pay a non-refundable deposit payment of CNY4,500 within the period specified in the PRE-ADMISSION LETTER, based on the amount actually received by NMU. Failure to pay the deposit within designated period may result in cancellation of admission.
6. NMU will send OFFICIAL ADMISSION LETTER and the Visa Application for Study in China (JW201/202 form) after receiving the deposit.
7. Incoming students apply for an X Visa at an embassy or consulate of P.R. China, along with the OFFICIAL ADMISSION LETTER and the JW201/202 form.
Notes:
1. Please be sure to indicate the application number and name when remitting your payment.
2. If a student gives up the admission to our university due to personal reasons, the deposit will not be refunded.
3. For students who have been admitted, if they fail to meet the university’s registration requirements at the time of registration and are disqualified from enrollment, the deposit will not be refunded.
4. Applicants in their final year of study will also be considered for admission. It is the applicant’s responsibility to present all required original documents (graduation diploma, degree certificate, transcript, language proficiency certificate and other supporting materials, etc.) at registration. Failure to obtain and present all required original documents will result in a cancellation of admission.
八、申请步骤
1. 申请人通过网上申请系统提交所有材料：http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/
2. 招生办公室审核所提交的材料。
3. 招生办公室通过电子邮件通知通过初审的申请人面试时间。
4. 申请人进行网络面试，通过面试的申请人将收到南京医科大学的预录取通知书。
5. 申请人在《预录取通知书》中规定的期限内缴纳不可退还押金4,500元人民币（以学校实际到账金额为准），未能在指定期限内支付押金可能会导致取消录取。
6. 招生办公室确认收到押金后，发出《录取通知书》和来华留学签证申请表（JW202表/JW201表）。
7. 新生持《录取通知书》和JW201/202表到中华人民共和国驻外使领馆申请X签证。
特别提醒：
2. 如果学生在之后因个人原因放弃来我校入学报到或者报到后申请退学，预交的押金均不予退还。
3. 已经被录取的学生，由于在入学报到时未能满足学校关于报到注册的条件而被取消入学资格的，其所预交的押金亦不予退还。
4. 正在进行最后一年学习的申请人也有录取资格。申请人有责任在注册时提供所有所需的原始文件（毕业证书、学位证书、成绩单、语言能力证明及其他附件材料等）。未能取得并出示所有必需的原始文件将导致取消入学资格。

2. Passport copy with at least 1-year validity remaining
3. Highest diploma/degree (a scanned copy of the original or a notarized copyin Chinese or English; graduating students may first submit a pre-graduation certificate)
4. Academic transcripts of all high-school courses, or transcripts of equivalent academic qualifications (a scanned copy of the original or a notarized copyin Chinese or English)
5. Certificate of non-criminal record
6. Certificate of HSK Level 4 or above
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (issued by Chinese health and quarantine authorities, completed in English, valid for 6 months)
8. Personal statement (at least 500 words, including study experience, reasons for application, and personal strengths)
9． China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) score report (taken within the past 12 months)

X. REGISTRATION
Applicants are requested to register at the School of International Education of Nanjing Medical University strictly according to the date notified in the Registration Guide. Those who fail to register on time will be automatically disqualified from admission.
Note:
The Registration Guide will be sent to all students via email in July.
十、报到注册
请申请者严格按照报到指南通知的日期到南京医科大学国际教育学院报到，逾期不报到者将自动取消入学资格。
注意：报到指南将于7月份通过邮件发送给全体学生。
XI. FEE STRUCTURE (CNY)
1. Registration Fee: CNY 500
Insurance Fee: CNY 600/Year
3. Tuition: CNY 30,000/Year
4. Accommodation Fee:
i. Jiangning campus: double room, CNY 6,000 /person /year
ii. Wutai campus:
Double room, CNY 8,000 /person /year; Three-bedroom, CNY 6,800 /person /year; Four-bedroom on Wutai campus, CNY 6,000 /person /year.
Utilities will be charged according to actual usage on a monthly basis.
